burppp....! the long burp was so satisfying. the taste of McD beef burger still lingering in my mouth.. my two roomates were watching How I Met Your Mother when suddenly one of the character were describing about the beef burger that he were craving for so many years. the way he described it was so real that all of us suddenly felt like we were also craving for beef burgers. but the problem is that we don't have enough money with us now and at this midnight hour, we can't go for ATM!
So what we did was we scattered all across our room looking for changes to add for a measly amount of money that we had in our hand; - not enough even to buy one burger! hahahha! imagine when we have a craving for one thing and we don't even enough money to get that damn thing right away? been there done that. so after around half and hour searching for changes, searching through our laundry to find changes that we might overlooked before, finally we get enough buy the burgers that we are craving for. that is, after we borrowed some money from our housemate across the room.
After a few round of paper, rock, scissors to decide who are the 'lucky' 2 to go and buy the burgers, i emerged as a winner (hahahaha!) and eagerly waited for them to bring back my victory meal. and the feeling of eating that burger was indescribable.. every bit is satisfactory, even that burger in fact is the cheapest we can gat from Mc Donalds. worth for every effort we put in. i dare say even if tomorrow we eat a bigger burger, the taste, the feeling wouldn't be the same. funny how we always take things for granted until we really need that thing. only then we realized how valuable that thing is..or how tasty it is.
same thing in this life. we often didn't realize how valuable the person or the thing is until we really need them. even one measly burger can teach us to value our life and things in it.. Burppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!
